My mouse pointer does not appear. I have windows 7 with an nvidia geforce 6150 graphics card and a touch screen. The touch screen works fine, but i cant use a regular mouse to navigate the menus. If i hover over a button, the shading changes (so i can guess where the mouse should be) but the pointer is invisible. I tried updating the nvidia driver but it is up to date and still doesnt work.

This appears to be an issue with some HP tablets from what I can tell. A quick work around is to enable or disable pointer trails. If you have pointer trails on, turn them off, if they are off, turn them on:
1. Right-click your desktop
2. Click "Personalize"
3. Click "Change mouse pointers"
4. Select "Pointer Options" tab
5. Make sure "Display pointer trails" is checked in the "Visibility" sub-section
